I don't believe there are any covens here on SoM that place an important focus on mental health, though many of the covens here on SoM have a familial feel to them which would mean that if you open up to them and they open up to you, you'll both be able to support, help, and learn from one another.
Check out the covens tab and look at the covens SoM features. Some covens focus on specific paths or practices, where others focus on topics that are important to the members themselves so there aren't any "set" topics, only the ones you and your coven mates want to see or make.
Thank you to all of you. I mainly use Wicca as a tool to deal with my anxiety and panic attacks. I thought a coven of people who do the same might be a nice support group.
Absolutely, Nord. If you haven't talked to a doctor or therapist I'd suggest trying to get in touch with them and you can get some advice and probably learn some things about your mental illness, but it definitely helps to have a group of friends to support you.
I have a psychiatrist and a therapist and I take meds, but I still have panic attacks and spells are just a tool I use to cope and make the attacks end sooner so I don't lean too heavily on the Xanax.
I would suggest looking into doing some deep meditations. Focus on healing and building yourself up. If you'd like to talk more about this on a more private and one on one manner, I welcome you to mail message me, Sherbert. :)
In this I will add my own comment. The fact in the matter the site is not designed for those of mental issues. Awareness is keen with given respect for all indiviudals without hate and such in the way of bullying. If a coven or group that was enlisting in special needs or disorders it could come across multiple problems- some might join seeking antention and self proclaim illness. Other ways may be targeted for negative traits. And those who do join that are adolences make take given suggestions and try with out taking conserdation of medication they take or other things in the matter. That can cause issues. Honestly, the covens/groups in this site seem accepting of others as long as maturity is held. As for seeking assistance- as other have mentioned seek professional help. Ask for holstic assistance if you are intune with that. Look into seeking different form of therapies given in your area that have sufficient credintals.
-In this I given my opinion and in no way am aiming in being hurtful.
