As Gabrielle said, you can find some useful articles for starting out and people in the chatter are always ready to help.

Just some tips on life here on Spells of Magic. If you really want to get into spell casting, I suggest that you practice visulisation and meditation. Like with anything that requires skill, practice is what will make you better.

Also beware of the fluffies. Fluffy is a term given to people who expect the impossible from magic. Physical transformations can not be done, so do not be fooled into thinking they can because there are spells on here that say so.
