Hey guys so when I try to astral project, I kinda get stuck in between, it'll feel like I tried for a couple of minutes but really it was about 2 hours past! I've only astral projected once successfully but it was on accident, I try alot of methods but nothing really seems to work.
well I don't have any tips but I do it without thinking about it and it can affect the physical world. Anyone have some tips on how to lock it down or at least make it a lot weaker?
I know the feeling of being stuck. It's not a good feeling, and honestly, since I emotionally fair poorly in my first few moments of projection, I don't handle being stuck very well.
The first thing I would say is note where you're getting stuck. Is it all of you, or only your right arm? Maybe it's your head (which I hear is very common) or just your feet. Wherever you're getting stuck, you need to focus on lightening. Imagine it's getting lighter and lighter. You can do this slowly, bit by bit of your whole body to lift yourself out.
Second, maybe one of your chakras are blocked? Are getting stuck near one?

This may sound strange, but don't strain yourself. Do not try so hard, you will hold yourself back. The real key to proper astral projection i.e. the majority, if not all, of your consciousness separating from the body is relaxation.
Also bear in mind that at first it is normal to be aware of the astral body and the physical body at the same time- the consciousness is hard to split or rather shift. I prefer it this way, being present in both surroundings has it's advantages too. Full astral projection comes with practice.
I would first relax the body using yoga nidra or another technique which utilises visualisation and breath work. Then relax the mind. Please be aware that the mind is the doorway to the astral, imagination being the viewing tool of the astral. Imagination is not false, but rather the faculty to weave together the astral light and create things, it is also the lens through which we perceive influences on the astral. So if you are getting images in your minds eye you could well be peering into the astral and not realising it.
There are different types of astral projection. You may be one to be able to do it with your eyes open. do the same routine, but be sitting in a chair. Open your physical eyes when you feel relaxed. use your minds' eye to move. Touch your own shoulder , your face, an object in the room to start.
