Most practitioners learn some form of divination to this end. Consider things like pendulums, the Tarot, or an Oracle deck.

Certainly as the last response says! There are many spreads out there that treat that particular decision making topic, analizing the pros and cons and potential outcomes of choosing certian path (of course, you can make your own spread to treat your specific situation alone, but if you're unsure how to create a spread, you can look online).

If you don't do divination or can't, you should search online for shops that sell spreads, or on tumblr a lot of people do free readings for practice (you should know that most of them do single card readings so you might not have the same amount of information from them than by doing it by yourself or buying one from someone).

One thing i find is that when i have become hung up on what to do about a situation, it isn't because I don't know what to do. instead it is more often because there is a conflict between what I know I need to do, and fear or some other emotion making me want to not actually do it.

It is hard to take a particular action that we know will lead to a positive outcome later on when it still requires enduring discomfort in the short term to get there. We are instinctively programmed to avoid adversity. it is a vital part of the survival mechanism and is a part of that little primordial lizard-brain hiding out in the bowels of the subconscious. ... Probably in a crooked nook of the root cellar.

I have found it to often be really helpful to closely examine myself for resistance. When sitting and being still, I directly ask myself why I am having trouble making a decision. I remind myself that i already know what I need to do even if I am not allowing myself to see it, and ask why I am resisting the change. I listen to all the little thoughts and ideas and what-if's and naysays to hunt for things that might tell me I am afraid about something. I find where that fear is hiding and I deliberately push my thoughts towards the direction of most fear.

Fear of change operates directly in opposition of the specific change that is coming in . so by following what the fear is most fighting against, I can identify the choice I am hiding from myself consciously so i can explore it and find out what the fear is, how I might let go of it, and hopefully reach a sense of determination or insight that will let me move forward.

Of course this is still easier said than done. On rare occasion it might snap things into perspective and generate an epiphany to action. But other times it can also be a quandary you beat against like a jackhammer to titanium. One effort might take minutes, another might take months. There have also been moments where I came to the realization that while I knew what I needed to do, it wasn't time to do it yet. Sometimes the choice may be known but the conditions to see it through positively might not be in place yet. So a bit of patience may also be in order.

Spells aren't always the solution, I think friends can sometimes be 100 times more powerful then chanting in a pentacle. Just tell us the problem, we're all friends here and we won't judge you, no matter how embarrassing it might be. May gaie be with you till you finish this problem.
