I'm close-minded and a Christian who is gay which is a big no in my religion and I don't want to believe that I'm going to hell after death. Today in church we talked about sins and how bad all this was and I came here to learn about gods and hopefully find mine.
Please be nice I'm new to all this and hope to learn more about all this. All I ask is if you guys can be nice and not judge me I know Christians are sometimes hated for being close minded in stuff but I hope to learn.
Firstly, whether being gay is acceptable is debated even among different denominations of Christianity, and sometimes from one congregation to the next. There are churches which are very open to gay members, and not in the sense of "join so we can change you."
Secondly, with the wide array of beliefs of forum members here, you may be surprised to find other Christians, and even people who follow the same God, but under a slightly different philosophy. If anyone starts getting on your case for your religious beliefs, their criticism will likely be met with resistance from people who believe in openness.
In the bible, there is a gay couple. I am Pan and as far as i know being LGQT+ has never sent anyone to hell. Its a choice not a belief. God undestands how different people feel about love
