I just joined SOM and I am needing to talk to someone about the life I have chosen. I was born and raised in a baptist family but knew I was different. It took me almost 30 years to realize this is my path. Just needing some very kind people to talk to me

Firstly, magic is not a religion, nor is practicing magic, in itself, a specific path. There are so many traditions to choose from.

And, yes: Some traditions to revolve around specific religions, some of which are very misunderstood by the broader public.


So by all means, research, ask questions, and stop in to chat. It's not always busy, but there's a pretty good community here, with some very helpful and knowledgeable people.
