How would I go about this

So I am making a voodoo doll of someone And I already got their clothing for the doll all I need is some of their hair. Any ideas on how I would trick this person into giving some. Or any ideas on how I can do it at all.

Stealing it from their hairbrush seems the simplest solution.

You don't always need a persons hair for a doll baby, voodoo doll, poppet (whichever you want to call it), you could just use something that associates with the person, such as imagery, something they owned, even just the clothing for the doll will work if the person it's aimed for has worn it.
