Where can I get Cinnabar?

Well, that is pretty self-explanatory, I guess. I really wish to acquire one of those crystals, but I do not know where to find it.
Find it, as in purchasing it, of course. Duh.

A quick google search will likely come up with lots of sellers. You can also try Etsy, eBay and Amazon.

I did, actually, but I would also like to hear some suggestions because cinnabar is quite a peculiar crystal and I don't want to order something of bad quality.

When I read the item's description I thought that they called it cinnabar because of its color and not because it has actual cinnabar in it. You know, like saying that its color is cinnabar red. To quote the actual product description: " Cinnabar is the name given to the rich red color of the beads. " Are you sure it is the real deal?

I might suggest using google maps. it's actually surprisingly useful for finding things! What you do is plug in your current address, then use the 'nearby' icon on the info window for the address you selected. Type in a key-word like 'metaphysical' or 'crystal', or even 'rock shop' and run the search to see what is in the area. the map will drop pins for everything that matches up within a good-sized radius.

Perhaps, and be careful, its unpopular and even illegal, because of how toxic it can be to wear and handle or be near it. you can perhaps find vintage pieces of it, or look around japanese shops, or find people through those sorts of buy and trade networks themselves. Get involved in some pawnshop or jewelry places and ask around!

However, that is 'real' cinnabar they would mine. There is most commonly nowadays something that looks identitical to it--but isnt cinnabar at the same time.

Depending on what you need it for you more want to find a subastute its toxic and probley will be incerpted in the mail if ordered.
