related, but no.

magick is a natural, neutral force, that just exists [like air, it's just there] you can charge this energy into your body, giving it a charge, and directing it on a specific path to achieve your goal.

the law of attraction is a belief that you manifest what you put out [a little like karma in a way, it's a force of the universe] people who believe in the law of attraction tend to think more positive, and spend time visualizing the day they wish to have and goals they wish to achieve, believing if they send these positive visions into the universe, the universe will provide.

it is similar to spells, as spells you need to visualize and focus on your desired outcome, and people who follow law of attraction will create vision boards and affirmations to help the universe to bring their desires to their door, but they're different concepts. if you are having a bad week/month, magick isn't providing you with more misery and misfortune, it's just floating around, possibly being charged by your negative energy, but you can cleanse it and be fine. if you were having a bad week/month and followed law of attraction, most would say it's your fault because you're not thinking happy thoughts, so the universe is dumping garbage on you because that's what you're asking for [which, no, you didn't ask for depression, sudden job loss, or a dead loved one, it's just sad parts of life] so while you could cleanse away negative energy, law of attraction states you need to just be happy, and repeat happy phrases, and put up happy picture to attract the happy back.

law of attraction isn't a bad thing, and to some degree i do believe in it, but i'm not a fan of when it's taken too far, and people believe depression is just you not welcoming in happiness, or good fortune is the result of you sitting and daydreaming, and not the hard work, or your rich uncle, or whatever [which, don't get me wrong, daydreaming can be fun, and yes, having a vision in your mind is good, but like with spellcasting, you can't just imagine winning the lottery but never buy the ticket.]
