Darkness rises with a call,
Beckoning to one and all,
It calls to us throughout the night,
Urging us away from light,
Calling us by our fear,
Into a land so distant and yet so near,
It calls upon us to do its blight,
And with that take us into eternal night

Camp was fun and all,
But home beckoned like a siren call,
People being out of my sight,
It felt like eternal night,
Being pulled into depths,
Unable to see light,
I could not resist its might,
Struggling to be free of this unbending reality,
The light came to slow for me to see,
That I was finally free

Darkness is the absence of light,
It burns us with its fright,
It haunts us with every day,
Waiting for the time when it can cause a fray,
It calls to us with open arms,
Hoping we will fall into alarm

Sisters four with poisoned breath,
Bring to the land a long, slow death.
But death comes quickly if you dare,
To find each sister's hidden lair.

Their songs like secret rivers flow,
To hold the peril deep below.
And if at last their voices cease,
The land will find a final peace.

The crystal glows with a light,
It sees beyond what we see as right,
It penetrates through the night,
It can win the perioulous fight.
It sees what we cannot,
It feels what we cant believe,
It is something that we think of makebelieve

Tonight I will cry myself to sleep,
My pillow as my tissue,
My hands as my guide.

Darkness hides my sins,
For you cannot see me cry into the night.

If I can only dream of your love,
But all I have is the nightmare of your twisted heart.

What did I do to make you leave?
Can you ever return and love me again?
For I am lonely here, in the dark.

Tonight I will cry once more.

Sing in my ear, let my heart beat with love.
For all your words sound like the sweetest song.
A lullaby to swing my heart to sleep.

My memory would be empty without your caressing voice.
The world I live would surely stop moving if you leave.

I would lie down and admit defeat if you took the songs away.
If my heart would stop to glow, then I shall breathe no more.

Without you I would stop loving myself,
My heart would ache, and never beat again
To the lullaby you sang to me when I needed love.

You are all I need.

The dawn will break, but you are not here.
We always watch the sunrise in each others arms.
But you are not here.

I watch the sun enter a new day, but I feel no loving embrase.
The warm glow on my face, wishing it was your kiss.
But you are not here.

The sun is high above the clouds.
Its getting dark, with the shadows to creep the ground.
A chilled breeze begins to blow, I feel cold.
But you are not here.

Rain starts to fall, i sit and cry.
Feeling the drops of rain fall down my face, I gently wipe them away.
I stop and think, for its not rain.
Its my tears of sorrow and pain.

For you have took your love away, now my days are dark and cold.

Without you my sun will never rise, it will just shine.
