please help

I have not been able to dream since i was eight and i think it is stopping me from astral projecting please help

Dreaming and astral projection are considerably different, astral projection is primarily done while awake, rather than asleep.
It takes time to master astral projection and for some people it is much more difficult than others, I wouldn't get disheartened, patience and practice are key.

It is likely that with dreams, you are actually dreaming, but are not remembering that you have, the majority of people dream every night but only remember a tiny percentage of their dreams. ou may find that when your sleep improves, you enter into the deep dream states more frequently, keeping a journal of anything you remember by the side of your bed, to note down anything as soon as you wake up before you forget may help with dream recollection.
