Hello!

Hi! My names Caden im from England,im 15 and magic has always been a part of my life but i have never really understood it, this is my first time doing any kind of magic. My mum was really deep into gypsy witchcraft but shes got a little too old for it now, me and my family are a long line of gypsys. I dont really know why but my parents are very strict about magic in the house and mum never really likes talking about what she used to do. Anyway i thought i would give this a try and see how it goes. Could anyone give me a few tips on how to increase power just to start off with. Thankyou!

You can start by checking out all the forums for newbies. If there's any way of striking up a conversation with your mother about the sort of things she used to do, I'd recommend it.. She might be able to help and advise you. I recommend it because being a "broom closet" witch is difficult, and it can feel draining having to constantly hide who you are.

If you can talk to your mum, great!If not, then... you can always ask me about practising in the broom closet, as a closet witch myself ^_^
