Imposter spirits:

I've heard that there are spirits that impersonate other deities when called upon. Is this true?

Wouldn't the true deity hurt them for doing this?

I know this is a thing, but I don't know why deities don't punish them. I know it angers Them.

It is important to note that spirits may also impersonate OTHER things, including ancestors, animal guides, demons, angels, etc.

I think it's similar to someone catfishing a person on Facebook. Rude and irritating but not a crime unless they have malicious intent.

How do you prevent them?
