Rainwater

I've been wanting to do a spell for a while that calls for rainwater, but I've come across the issue of lack of precipitation where I live, so I was wondering if I could use tap water, pond, or maybe even bottled water as a replacement.

I think I would use a body of water like a pond, lake or river. To many chemicals going through the taps.

Bottled water could be good too. I'm not sure what the spell calls for, but if you use natural water from a pond, river, etc. Remember not to ingest the water and wash your hands thoroughly after handling it so you don't risk getting toxic particles or parasites from the water.

If you do opt to use water from a natural source I'd suggest running it through a filter before using it. Too much bacteria, parasites, and other toxins in the water supply these days. You can find water bottles with built in filters on Amazon. Or even boiling water first to kill harmful bacteria before you use it works as well. Always wash your hands after under warm water with soap to prevent the spread of potential infection.

I’d think that water from a very clean pond would be good. It’s snowy and cold where I live so sometimes in the winter if I really need rainwater, I’ll get a bucket of snow and melt it.
