Moving into a new home,

So in the next couple months I'm going to be moving into a new house, the previous owner committed suicide.
What's the best way to cleanse the house? I didn't know if sage would be good enough?
I feel loneliness and sadness lingering in the house.

It might also be possible that he's earthbound. Which means unable to leave the earth world due to his own personal grief. Set up some protection and if you wish to try and speak to it. Try and find out if he is earthbound and help him cross over to the spirit world so he can heal, you can inform him that once he goes to the spirit world he is allowed to come back to the earth world afterwards. If you wish to you could also leave a space for him in the home to show he's welcome back.

He may be a little sad that life is moving on without him and if he has something that's decade to him than it might make him feel a little at ease. Sage will work. You can also clean the house with some cleansing music from YouTube, maybe even find some love energy music while your at it. So, the home is filled with love once more. I personally cleanse my own home with white light by picturing the place being flooded with white light. Set the intention that the white light is removing any negative left in that home.

He was a family friend. It's really sad he was such a happy guy and could talk for hours. He helped socialize my cat, and kinda consoled me when my cow died.
I don't want to make him leave forever, I don't think he will cause any problems. Thank you for your suggestions they will definitely help when we finally move in there
