Hi I have recently started studying witchcraft.
I tried my first spell the other day to heal my sick child from his cold. As soon as the candle had burnt out I looked in the mirror and noticed a line had appeared at the beginning of my left eyebrow. Its a faint line but it was not there before. Anyone has anything like this before or know what could be happening?
I read you said that you had started practicing Witchcraft, was this spell performed after you've already studied how real magic works, how energy works, how to focus energy, ect , ect. Because in my experience of actively practicing for 15 years now, before that I learned from my own experiencesand then when I was old enough to actually look up things online I found that everything that I had learned from my experiences weresomething that was known by other practitioners for tens of thousands of years. So , as a Wiccan High Priest I bring this up because I've never heard of a line being near your left eyebrow. I don't believe a Deity or the universe/Spirit guides, ect were send you a sign this way. Also magic-wise I've never seen that happen so it's most likely just a normal line on your face.
Also, there are many resources and fake ones all over the internet, so if you haven't already I would strongly recommend that you take a look at these posts:
Thankyou so much will definitely read. And Im still learning and today I only just learnt how to do warding before a spell. Was wondering if you could help me. I brought an amulet saying
humus spiritus aura caminus aqua I read you need to cleanse any amulet brought so its just for you. Do you know how I could do this please x
Well, having formally trained in Latin your spell is not correct. Humus means ground though it's not the right form of the ground for the Earth,Spiritus obviously means spirit, aura in latin means air but it's not the correct form of the word to use if your trying to use actual latin, caminusmeans oven, though without grammarit's Firebox, andaqua means water. So all together these words are meaningless. I would you recommend you learn how to cast a spell using your own first language, ie: I was born in the United States so my first language is english. It's kind of too difficult to explain how to cleanse items for ritual use because I don't know /your/ tradition or the tradition your trying to practice. I'd recommend you do research because there are so many different methods but each tradition has it's own tradition or method your supposed to use.
