Kinda sucks but yeah, I'm thinking about that.
I got a real death wish and it was me. People with death wish were deep thinkers, knows many things about death and even wants to be friend with Death. Well, it is possible to be friend with Grim Reaper or the Saint of death?

The Grim Reaper, shinigami, death deities and death spirits can be worked with and befriended, but it really depends on how you view them. If you wish to deal with the grim reaper specifically, most see him as a symbol or representation of death and not actually real [but in my opinion, if enough people believe in something, they can become real. Imhotep was so amazing in life, he became a God in death] Do some soul searching and ask yourself why you're drawn to death [the concept] what you admire about it, and how you can improve your life with the reaper as an archetype.

Death in the tarot is rather misunderstood and feared [and one of my favourite cards in the deck] it represents change, not literal death [or, at least, 99% of the time it's not literal death] Jenny-Jinya has created amazing comics about death being there to help the wayward would find some semblance of peace in their final moments [her art is beautiful and the stories are heartbreaking. If you haven't looked at her work, please give it a look]

Death in our society is seen as something scary, distant, and we're given very little time to mourn [your dad died on Monday, the funeral was Wednesday, it's Friday, you're good, right?] Personally, I'm fascinated with death and the death industry, as well as historical views on the subject [Victorian mourning is fascinating. There's the memento mori, but also many would keep a lock of hair] We'll all die eventually, and while some might be terrified with the unknown of it all, it's wise to accept and embrace it. I would take the time to come to terms with these feelings, even have the grim reaper by your side, since he's less of an evil monster stealing one's soul and whisking it away to the afterlife, but an old friend accompanying you to the next life. I would call on him on your journey of discovery and acceptance of the inevitable. Make an altar with various symbols of death, death deities, and representations of the grim reaper and other death beings. Meditate before it, do shadow work or journey at the altar when you wish to work with accepting death.
