Hello, for a month now I've been doing ceremonial magick rituals every single day so I'm jonesing for something new and exciting to try out. What was a successful spell you've cast and can you describe your experience, the process, or source/directions of the spell? Interested in any kind of spell
My most successful spell was a binding spell that I created on my own.
It was cast on someone that I knew very well who was doing horrible things to myself and to others.
I had a photo of them that I bound in a ribbon, and I cast it with so much energy and emotion that they never hurt anyone ever again. Yes, past tense is correct.
Unlike most binding spell I didn't put certain parts of the spell in place, not because I intended it that way, but due to the way I created the spell.
I've had many successful spells, so I won't detail them all, but afterwards I often feel a similar way that lets me know the spell has or will work. I generally feel really warm or event hot during the spell, which is likely a result of using/working with energy, and afterwards everything feels calm, quiet, and slower. It's a very pleasant feeling.
Cern & Sylvie, I feel like the most successful spells are the ones you pour your heart into, the ones you really want, or need to be fulfilled. I also have experienced that lightness for lack of a better word after a ritual is complete. With the magick I'm doing right now it has been successful butI justfeel I'm getting a little burnt out. Looking to change it up, but I guess I need to specify what I really want in my life right now. I know that's attracting a soulmate but I'm still very traumatized from the last one.
I totally agree that you pour your heart in to, are the ones that work the best. Nothing beats energy that comes from within and is focused by need.
Sorry to hear you are a bit burnt out and a bit traumatized.
Maybe some healing and or protection spells are in order to give you the breathing space you need to move forward and recharge your energies might work.
I agree with Cern. Some healing spells may be in order. After that, try some type of general "I attract love" spell with a more specific intent directed towards attracting a soulmate. Also, make sure you specify which type of soulmate (romantic, familial, etc.)
This is a little off the course of the conversation, but if you're looking for new directions for your magic, try some shadow works. Personally, it has helped me look into myself more and figure out magical ways to improve myself and my life.
Cern & Sylvie, sorry for the late response final week of school wasn't fun. This is excellent advice. I have been doing healing magickand shadowwork but not protection. I don't want to sever the connection with this person, but their energy might be too intertwined with mine if that makes sense. Which might be influencing me or holding me back in some ways, I think about them every day for almost a year now, which is something really out of character for me, and it's tough because I just want tomove on and be happy. I will start adding in protection magickand workon setting the intention for attracting a soulmate.
