bruise post spell

Today im going on a trip to visit my sister in another country. apart from all the standard protection, yesterday i decided to try out the spell bellow for luck and protection. Being jewish i used a parchment with a frase from the torah - also linked below - with my jewish name on it. I sealed it with a white candle and charged it in last nights new moon. After i was done i went to sleep.
Today I woke up with three bruises, almost like finger marks, right above my hip. I get on a plane in a couple of hours and now im worried the spell backfired or something.


other things to clarify. I had incense the whole time. this is my second spell jar, my first being one for only protection which i sleep with it next to my bed. last time i charged my crystals was about two weeks ago.

Maybe its paranoia, but the bruises are too perfect. I know i didn't have them yesterday.

Good luck spells, particularlyone of the natureyou linked to here, rarely backfire. It is meant to center your positive thoughts and draw in further positivity. I don't know what the bruises could be from. If you toss and turn a lot in your sleep, it's possible they were from that. Remember, too, that bruises can take a while to appear, so they may not even be from that night at all.

Either way, I would say you are most likely safe from something like this "backfiring." It's just not really in the nature of positive energy to do that, so if that's what you focused on and invisioned while doing this spell, I am sure you will be alright.

The bruise isn’t a sign of backfire but a spirit trying to contact you. This doesn’t mean it is good or evil. If the bruises were darker and painful that would be a clear indication of its nature.
