Hi! I'm Ella, my pronouns are she/her and they/them. I'm a baby witch in the broomcloset and advice on discreet things I can do would be greatly appreciated! I'm not Wiccan or paegan. I'm brand new to the witch community so I will most likely need some things explained. Thank you all for your patience as I learn!

I have never been in the broom closet myself, I have always been open about my practice with those close to me, despite having to deal with a bit of disapproval.

However I have learned a few tricks for this along the way realizing I may need to help another at some point, whom may not be able to be so open.

One method is compartment spells. Spells that are kept within a room out of sight. An example of such a spell is a small sigil or petition paper, kept within a photo frame.

Or herbs kept in a bag in the form of a bag spell, kept in a photo frame or drawer. These spells are wonderful for protections, protecting a space.

As well for the altar one can keep altar supplies in a small wooden box, and take these out as needed for ritual, and put them back away when finished. Altoid tins can be used, or if not a box a small bag.

One can also keep their altar space in a drawer, or cupboard. An altar as well is not even necessary.

I recommend searching online for tips of practicing discreetly.
