The genie, otherwise (properly) known as a djinn/jinn, is a being that exists in a state between human and God. Nowadays referred to as spirits or sometimes demons. It seems that like humans, Jinn have free will and so their inclination towards good or ill is not pre-determined but an individual choice.

So when someone chooses to call on a Jinn for help it's basically 50/50 if the being that arrives will be there to assist or cause mischief. Plan ahead, consider your goals and motives, be clear in intent and precise in what you are asking for.

I believe that there are magical (Islamic?) methods of summoning and binding a Jinn into service. Usually things like providing knowledge, being sent to posess and/or curse and hinder enemies, or of course to guard/watch over specific things or places.

However considering your apparent youth, and definite inexperience, I would first recommend some time learning about some basic ideas. Symbolism, Personal growth and awareness, and the roles and philosophies of magic in general.

Magic is not the purpose of spirituality, it is only a function.

They can be created but not physically

A Jinn is a spirit found within Islamic culture.

While I do not believe one could create a Jinn with all their typical behavior, one possibly could create a servitor to act in a similar way.
