How can you ask your god or goddess for a sign with a pendulum,to know if you are talking to them or not. i would like to know this, because i prefer communication with a pendulum.
I would suggest making your own pendulum board for this. With a combination of symbols specific to your deity and a few more unspecific.
My best example The Morrigan. The word crows and the word war, the color red.
Not related to the Corrigan: A spiral, the color blue, the word Spring, a seashell.
Perhaps a board like this can help determine the general feel of the energies which are interacting.
However in all honesty I can not be of much help here. I do not communicate with deity with a pendulum. I use my pendulums for general divination and dowsing.
I do not have enough experience using a pendulum in deity interactions.

You can make a board with letters and numbers around it, an internet search will show you several examples.
You can ask most any question, although it is often easier to stick with one that can be answered in only a few words. You can also create a series of pendulum cards to assist you in asking more detailed questions.
As for using the pendulum to know if the God or Goddess is talking to you, you
have to learn how to discern if they are talking to you or not on your own.
Like I have said I have never exactly used my pendulum to communicate with deities. I have, however used pendulums alongside spirits, or letting spirits move the pendulum and help answer questions.

Learning to communicate with a deity using a pendulum is much like communicating with a deity using a candle flame. You want to minimize outside influences. In the case of a pendulum learning to discern whether an outside influence like a spirit is moving the pendulum, or if it is your own movement.
A lot of discerning whether you truly are communicating with a deity or not is done with the answers you receive. It takes practice and patience, and trial and error. You will have to learn whether or not you can trust the answers you get. Whether they originate from your own subconscious, a deity, or something else.

Make your own pendulum and then sprinkle it with holy water to keep it pure then ask your angels to protect you and only let good spirits through to you. Now ask the pendulum a series of questions that you know the answer to is definately yes, once you have established this then ask the pendulum a series of questions that you know the answer is definately no. There are many ways in which to work with a pendulum and communicating with spirits, whether they be the deceased or a specific god, is one of them.Communication is just one of the aspects of this divine tool that can be used to gather information and help manifest desired results.. A communication board can aid one while working with a pendulum and the type of pendulum may also help with a specific task one is using the pendulum for or the information they are inquiring about. I find a chambered pendulum works best while practicing divination for a specific person because,a piece of their hair or a fingernail can be placed inside the chamber. This creates a better connection to the specific person during the divination session. Pendulums can be made of different stones or crystals each adding their own energy and vibrations to the reading. If one is new to pendulum use, has an unsteady hand, or suffers from anxiety a pendulum made of amethyst may be a better choice than one made of selenite, a crystal which has a higher vibration and is great for use in healing practices. Another aspect of the pendulum to consider is the shape, as different shapes have different energy, aka sacred geometry.
