Proper knowledge of herbs is important for any aspect of the craft however ingestion of any herb should be done with caution and proper recommended intake amounts should be adhered to. Be sure you know what you are doing prior to consuming any herbs or other plants through culinary means.

Damiana is a great herb to help treat urinary issues in both men and woman as well as aid in sexual arousal of both.

Mugwort contains thugone which can be toxic in large amounts, it is a ketone and a monoterpene. Thugone is a chemical compound found in the spirit absinthe, but only a small amount in present. Mugwort herb is often used to aid visions, divination, astral travel, and dream magic. Mugwort has also been used to treat intestinal issues such as constipation, diarrhea, worm infestation, and weak digestion. This herb stimulates gastric juice production and bile secretions but also has been used to treat male impotence and can also help treat menstrual issues.

Lemon Verbena can be consumed to help with digestive issues and as anti-spasmodic qualities as well as anti-inflammatory. Verbena stimulates the production of lauteinizing, a hormone that is responsible for reproductive development and function. This herb can help attract the opposite sex.

Wormwood can be consumed as a tonic and is used to treat digestive issues, fever, liver disease, worm infestations, and mayincrease sexual desire. Wormwood also contains thugone which is believed to have aphrodisiac properties.
