Blood using

I wonder what can I do with my blood to magick. I want to know how can I use my blood.

The topic of blood magic is a touchy subject as many do not advice using ones' own blood in spell work for the obvious sanitary reasons. However many still utilize blood in their practice in various forms. Dragon's blood, dove's blood and bat's blood are all types of ink that are made with dragon's blood resin. This resin has been used for centuries as a pigment, varnish, and incense. Dragon's blood is made from the Dracaena Cinnabari tree and not to be confused with Cinnabar which is a bright scarlet to brick red form of mercury that was also used for pigment in the ancient world. The products made form the resin of the Dracaena Cinnabari tree are very powerful as they also contain herbs and resin from other well known flora to help aid spell casting.

Using a sample of one's blood in spell work is very similar to adding a piece of hair or fingernail to a magical working. It can help aid the target or intended recipient of the casting to "feel the effects" of the casting. This sample can be from a tissue used to apply pressure to a cut, or nose bleed, even to collect a woman's moon blood. There are safe ways to obtain ones' blood so please do not intentionally hurt or draw blood recklessly.
