A curse

Someone used a spell and said to me that I wouldn't be able to cast spells because no matter what I do, it won't work, is this even possible?

Yes, and at the same time a huge, resounding no.

Nobody can take your magick away. Magick is everywhere and in everything. You might lose your connection to it, but you can find your way back with practice. Someone can block you from casting over them, but they can't take your magick away. What this person has done is make you doubt yourself, and this doubt can create a block which would prevent you from casting. But this is a block you created, not the other person. You can clear it by ignoring them and focusing on your craft.

So, short answer, they can't take away your magick. If you're having issues casting spells or feeling the flow of energy, it's a personal issue you need to heal. [if you're having such an issue, let us know and we can help you brainstorm ways to clear the block]
