I've been browsing this site for about 3½ to 4 years now but just created an account. Upon my travels I have come across spells and practices for different types of kenesis and manipulating/controlling elements. On those spells, I come across conflicting information, from some people claiming it's real, and others claiming it's not. Some say it requires very high concentration. Can someone clear this up for me and tell me if it's possible or not? No "you can do it in a lucid dream" type answers, I'm talking about real life.
Any sort of kinesis is purely imaginary. None has ever been proven, and none has been verifiably demonstrated. There are all kinds of methods of trickery which can be pulled off on video rather easily, and the simpler the object or movement, the easier it is to affect such tricks on video. So far, that is the best evidence anyone can offer besides word of mouth. That is, there is no demonstrable proof. Considering the hundreds of years of such claims, all lacking actual proof, it comes to consideration that such things cannot be done.
So, I am going to say this respectfully, Majority of new comers on this site were creating spells that don't fully understand how witchcraft, or occult arts work. so, they post spells based on fantasy. when it comes to your question, There has not been physical proof of kinesis. I know of people witnessing kinesis happening at random, but that is purely word of mouth. Videos, are faked. spells on kinesis are fake.
To my way of thinking, the word "Kinesis" has been kept for the better learning of the world in future. And like other words, The Word "kinesis" is introduced by the great minds.
Some of the depictions of the word can also be seen in movies like Avatar- The Last Airbender, Lucy and so on.
Today itself, in different religious views kinesis is considered as some power of the lord God and Gods to move any object from one place to another without coming into physical contact. lord god, who created the universe and Gods, who was born in different time and in different places of the universe. This made people also believe the universe is made for the sake of people only and gods live in other world or dimension.
Some believed that if Lord God is supreme and Lord God created the universe and humans. Specifically, created humans like in his own image, and given us the senses, thoughts, and other abilities, and so on. Abilities someway like his own then we must also possess some deeper abilities like kinesis, psychic abilities and so on which is yet undiscovered by the mankind. Soon the priesthood came into being and people started to believe that some who are deeply connected to the Gods and nature may possess the understanding of these abilities as a gift or blessings from God itself. But yet there is no proof of successfully attaining it.
Then slowly different studies like science and observations came into being and findings started to come up differently and now many believes mankind is just a tiny little part of the universe. Issac Newton has also mentioned in some of his science and religious views that “Gravity explains the motions of the planets, but it cannot explain who sets the planets in motion.”
Now a days, Technology has emerged rapidly and continuously emerging each day, and words like cyborg, artificial organs, augmented humans and so on, are coming into being. Movies animations like RoboCop depicting how neural networks can manipulate the technical devices and sensors.
In brief, mankind is an ever-evolving entity, and there is always a strife to learn to keep it safe for ages and yet we believe we just know very little about our environment and ourselves. Kinesis is just a similar attempt to understand what the possibilities of humans and how far it can go.
And notions like "lucid dreaming" suggest that one can enhance their senses in a meditative state of mind to an extent that they can experience any event, as they like, in the universe while meditating in their own premises and not physically being present at that event. In that state you can feel and empathize anything in that event, but you cannot touch and control it.
