Hi. Could someone make a spell that would be able to make a person a nerd with the stereotypical look they desire. Additionally, could reality change so that has always been the case>
The answer would be a 'no' on both counts. Magical practices can be a tool for self-reflection and personal growth, which for some can be life-transformative over time. But it is an internal change achieved through applied effort over time.
'Nerd' culture is just like goth culture or geek culture or furry culture or 'trekkie' culture or any other 'culture' you can think of. It is a lifestyle choice. Not a 'thing' a persion becomes or transforms into. It is a function of personal tastes, activities, and sometimes fashion choice. Though even then every aspect attached to any label is at best optional. Bottom line is that a person is a 'nerd' or 'geek' etc if that is how they choose to label themselves and if that is the sort of culture/identity they choose to immerse themselves into.
I mean... Is this cast on someone else? No. If this is cast on yourself, maybe.
You can't cast a spell and someone comes into class the next day dressed/acting like Steve Urkel with the suspenders and big glasses and nasally voice obsessed with D&D and nerd culture [especially if they were some jock who hated all of that stuff] A spell would need to change who they are as a person completely, and spells don't do that. You might be able to cast a spell that would cause them to look less attractive [acne, get an eye problem and need glasses for a few weeks, so on] but that would be a hex or curse and it wouldn't be as dramatic as uprooting everything about them.
If you wanted to be a nerd, you could say an affirmation, change your outfit, start researching nerd culture and start doing "nerdy" hobbies. But that's more you've decided to make a change and the spell is to help you achieve the goal with fewer obstacles than without it [kind of like a weight loss or beauty spell]
I would also argue why someone would want to force someone to change. [I've always been a follower of the advice from characters like Daria "Stand firm for what you believe in, until and unless logic and experience proves you wrong." and Dwaine from Little Miss Sunshine "Do what you love and forget the rest."] But, if for whatever reason you want to get into something, do your research, find an online group, chat with people, and go from there.
If this is more a you've got a thing for nerdy-looking people and want to date someone who looks like that, you'd have more luck with a love spell. You'd ask the universe to help you find someone who is that instead of, say, turning your crush into something they're not. [it would also work out better in the long run since looks are important, but personality is more important in a relationship. If you've got nothing in common, it won't last long]
