Hi, what ritual would you suggest for a lunar eclipse night? I have read that it can be trick for beginners and we have to be careful of what we are asking for. Do you think it can have a negative effect on the long term?

I have to say that I have no guide and it's sometimes difficult to follow up with things. I really want to learn and develop correctly my apprenticeship.
Technically you can use the night to perform whatever sort of magic, ritual, or celebration you want. Eclipses are times of heightened magic because there is a break in the natural flow, creating a heightened movement of energy. However the energy is still just energy. There is just more of it available.
If you wanted to do something themed for the event, perhaps a phoenix rite or other symbolic rebirth. Think of it like creating a symbolic new beginning, a magic focused on letting go of old thoughts or habits to be replaced (or reborn) with learning and personal growth. Something like this would be intrinsically focused on positive energy and movement so it would be free from most risks.
Another option would be doing a guide-calling if you are looking to declare an intent to connect with your spirit guides/guardians. Eclipses tend to be viewed as gateway times. Just be sure you are specific in what you are looking for. Opening an unguided portal or gate is like leaving the front door of your house open with a shining sign saying 'anyone welcome'. You could get a friendly neighbor, or you could get a crazy vagrant. But as long as you first decide on what you with to call for, and call for that specifically, such dangers can be mitigated.
You could also just do a simple honoring ritual to whatever gods or deities/entities you already work with. Have a fire outside (if it is safe to do so, the summer has been pretty dry after-all), read a spell or prayer or dedication towards those you follow, maybe make an offering of wine, cheese, bread, and fruit, and cap it off with a bit of meditation.
By my own experience, after moon ritual something that was occult and hide as a secret came out or got revelead. This is because the moon represents the past, also everything that is occult good or bad and the sun represent the future. I have made circles on the ground and walked counter clockwise because I am in the South Hemisphere and casted spelling. It has clarified many issues. The process of finding out the truth was painful but absolutely necessary for my kids and my own sake. New begging after that. In the south hemisphere counter clockwise is for attraction and clockwise is for banishing. In the North Hemisphere is the opposite. Remember the circle is also a magic space that we create. Erase it right after the spell is casted. Wishing you all good luck.
About the solar eclipse: something that was done in the past can be undone, like a spell, hex or curse. So I do cleaning and breaking spells during these eclipses.
Remember that you work during eclipses only for yourself.
