Migraine & Magic

I've had migraines all my life and though they are a menace, I also consider them a blessing in a way. When I have a migraine (or the aura just before one), I often feel spiritually connected to the universe. When I'm in one of these altered states, I feel like the universe is trying to send me a message but I don't have the means to interpret it. I've tried meditating in an attempt to induce similar altered states, but it just ends up triggering another migraine and going nowhere else.

I don't have much experience with magic aside from some dabbling I did in my teen years, so I appreciate any advice or direction you have to offer. Is there any way I can get past this blockage and connect with whatever is trying to reach me? I feel like I'm wasting potential. It always feels like there's a barrier between me and the spiritual world.

(I also feel I should note that I do see a neurologist for the migraines, but the medication doesn't eliminate everything. I'm not looking for migraine cures; that's between me and my doctor. I'm just seeking spiritual answers for the blockage.)

I've also had migraines and seizures all my life so I totally understand you! But out of the 50 years now of learning the craft I also learned that if you have any type of gift which I am sure u do.. like being psychic in some way... if you are not using that gift it will also hurt you and most common is migraines! So I would start there first maybe do some shadow work as well. Hope this helps. Blessed Be.
