I have been trying to find some technical resources about spiritual energy and anatomy for a long time and was wondering if anyone knows where I can find some technical information
Im looking for some dispassionately written information about the dynamics of spiritual energy, such as patterns or algorithms for discerning commonalities with the way directed spiritual energy reacts with matter or is influenced by other energies, and a highly detailed depiction of the energy bodies that shows every known nadis. I would also like to find a really good book on hand magic too. Ive all but given up on searching the internet for these things.
By the way, the most promising books I have found are Polarity Therapy - Collected Works by Randolph Stone and Real Sorcery - Strategies for Powerful Magick by Jason Miller. But that second book feels too dark for me to want to really read.
I'm afraid I don't have any book recommendations, but what I've come to understand over the years is that magic doesn't necessarily affect matter directly. on this plane, magic is a natural, subtle energy that makes things that are less likely to happen more likely to happen by affecting probability. This is why we can't use magic to make immediate changes to the physical world, and why any changes that can be made have to happen naturally.
Now I've heard some conflicting statements such as magic can cause candles to burn down faster or lights to glow brighter, but I don't yet have an explanation for why this can happen.
Have you tried looking in www.gutenberg.org they have tons of free pdf and other formats you can download for free just remember to have a good pdf reader I use readera myself.. Blessed Be
The energy healing experiments, by Gary E Schwartz, PhD.
Hands of light, by Barbara Brennan.
Linda Goodman's star signs; This one is a little more indirect, but there is useful information to find.
The 21 lessons of Merlin; Douglas Monroe- The historical value it claims is pretty off... Earning the overall story the monicor '21 lessons of balderdash'. But the subtext of the story, and much of the information in the appendices and introduction have useful value magically-speaking. Plus the actual story isn't bad as a fiction. It's Just not at all a reflection of history.
By its nature the books you're looking for will be difficult to find. Most of this site will be classified as occult which falls outside of mainstream religion or science. So it us suppressed or hidden for a multitude of reasons. Most of what you'll find in book form is generic or gives only a historical account. Meaning it won't be of much use for practice but are at least very useful from a scholarly approach.
The information you're likely seeking will lie within covens and other like minded individuals. Networking and social communication will be key. Apologies if that isn't of much help or stating the obvious.
