I know why I don't like her books, spells and ritual information. I find her too long winded and if I followed everything she said I would never get around to doing a spell or ritual.

But what are other thoughts on her?? Do you like her - if so why, if not, why???

Personally I have met her and think that she isn't much of a witch. By this I mean she has no real magical talent. Her books are lame and her students tend to be egotistical. I have met way to many of them and it is hard not to laugh when I met another one and they try to impress you by name dropping.

I find she generalizes way to much and uses to many extreemist statements, "always" and "never" rarely occur. Her books are dumbed down and personally I find that insulting to anyone with a brain, there are enough "Idiots guide to ...." we dont need another author doing this.

Yes i agree. I think she is not a powerful witch at all. Maybe once she was but got caught up in the glamour of it all.

I like some of the information but I do agree in saying that she generalizes and dumbs things down. I have heard that her students are pretty snobish but I've never met any of her students myself so I wouldn't know.

I read her books when I was younger. I felt she was more trying to get the point across to the younger readers that it should be hidden and how to hide it from parents, ect, which I find to be ridiculous.

My personal feelings is she cares more about the money her books generate than actually helping people.

Well "To fly a silver broomstick" and "To stir a magickal cauldron" does sort of prove she is a powerless stereo-typical witch. I bought those two books when I was 7 and believed them...and I still find them as excellent books! Yeap! They sure are great sources of entertainment when I'm deep down in too much homework lol. I agree with you o the fact that her writing style is quite amateur.
When I was 11 I met a kid who had read all of her writing material in stonehenge at the Summer solciste, but he was just some self-proclaimed "greatest child witch in the South-West of England" that is until I introduced him to a bit of mouth-dropping aerokinesis (and according to my dad he spent all of the following day practicing kinesis and had thrown Ravenwolf's books in the trash lol).
