Today is Halloween and earlier today I took a quick nap.
This black cat originally belonged to someone else, but it left them and started following me.
(I'm sort of afraid of cats. I'm just not a cat person)
The cat NEVER harmed or threatened me. But everywhere I went, it was there or had followed me there. For instance, I went to work talking to someone, and my former supervisor said, "Your cat is here."
So I said, "Oh"
It just kinda hung around waiting for me.
What is bizarre, is that this black cat kept licking my feet. I was leaving work and saying goodbye to people, and shaking hands with people I met. I told them I had to leave because of the cat, and that my feet were drenched from him licking them. I could even feel how wet my feet were outside the dream.
The cat had already left ahead of me. And we were walking this trail through land. The trail was on a road, and land was on the side. Kind of like forest.
The cat was way infront of me. I thought about making a sudden turn to get away from the cat. But then I realized that the cat had licked my feet enough to know my scent. And that if I took a sudden turn, it would know. (So because the cat had licked my feet enough, it knew I was following him even though it was way infront of me.)
But why did the cat keep licking me feet? And I don't mean just once or twice. I'm puzzled by that.... The cat and I were going to my house. So I was trying to figure out how I was going to take care of it.
It was almost as though the cat was trapping me into keeping him or something, because I knew I could not turn the corner without him knowing I was trying to leave him.
psychic bond, even though you may not like cats, cats are obviously atracked to you, so maybe trying to access that bond, you may find, that cat's aren't so bad
Thanks. That certainly helps a lot. Hopefully, the cat will come into my next dream so I can open up myself to that idea.
I don't hate cats or anything. They just kind of creep me out. So in the dream, I was torn. Torn because the cat was nice and hadn't harmed me. But spooked because of my small fear of them and wondering could I really trust this black cat. The cat was very nice, but I was just a bit too scared. In the dream, I even remember a point of being fond of the cat and petting it. (Almost like petting a cute panda bear, but hoping it won't turn on you. That was my discomfort level with this cat. Hopefully that makes sense) So my hesitation was still there. Which is why I tried to leave it.
Thank so much for your feedback though. I really appreciate it.
