After sunset tonight, when the Moon is up, take a bottle or other container you can close, and fill it full of water, preferably from a well or other natural source. You can use bottled spring water if there is no safe natural source of water nearby.
Put the open container of water outside, and set it where the light of the Moon will shine on it. Ask the Goddess to bless the water with her light. Leave the container there as long as the Moon is up, then close the container carefully. Keep it to use in all rituals and spells that require water. You can do this every month at the Full Moon to have a supply of blessed water on hand.
Kind of like how christains, cathlics and other jesus/god worshipping religions pray to their gods. Focus on the god/goddes you want to communicate with, speak their name, then the message. It's simple really
Water can be used for elemental witchcraft and rituals on the altar or in the circle as a representation of that element. It can be used to bless, and consecrate tools. I use a homemade holy lilac water to cleanse my clear quartz pendulum. Moon water can also be added to a spiritual bath. Moon water as well can be used in cosmetic recipes that call for water, such as perfumes. There are multiple purposes moon water can serve and these will depend on how an individual personally practices. In my own practice moon water is not used. I will however use holy or blessing water. I make my blessing water and holy water a certain way utilizing ingredients I do not reveal to others.
You do not need to call on a Goddess to bless moon water. The natural energies of the moon will bless the water. You can still call on a Goddess, but it's not required to make moon water. Place water in moonlight (even if it is cloudy, it counts) keep it in the window overnight and cover before the sunlight hits it. You have moon water. If you want solar water, same thing but with the sun.
