Write these words on a smooth rock:
"Fairies flitting to and fro
Bless this garden
Help it grow".
Place the rock in your garden. Put a few crumbs of cookies or cake in your garden. And put the doll size cup of root beer (fairy ale) beside the rock as an offering. Light the candle as it type used on birthday cakes. Drip a bit of melted wax on the rock to stick the candle on with.
Repeat the words on your mouth and toss a bit of gold glitter in the air. (a bit embarrassing but you are doing it in your garden alone so don't worry.) Sit with the candle until it goes out. If you are very still and very quiet, you may glimpse a fairy peeking at you between some leaves or behind a flower!
My only question is do people actually call it faerie ale? [seriously, I'm curious] this might help attract a faerie, but I would offer a cupcake or small cookie over the crumbs as that might anger faeries [they're not the sweet creatures you might be imagining, they can be kind or vengeful] you could also offer a mixture of milk and honey or sweet tea instead of faerie ale [going to call root beer that from now on lol]
First of all fairies are not the spirits you think little girl they can be very bad for you so don't mess them . Fairies are the spirits who uses trees to live like an spirit vessel .
That's exactly what she said. direct quote from Neko's comment ''they're not the sweet creatures you might be imagining, they can be kind or vengeful.'' Furthermore, your ''little girl'' comment was an unfounded insult.
Little girl? That's hilarious, I guarentee I'm older than you, dude. Also, I said that in my post that faerie's aren't all sunshine. [I'm one of the people on the site that warns people faeries aren't as friendly as pop culture would have us believe] Are you wishing to start an argument? Is that why your response seems hostile? [also, not all faeries live in trees. there's tons of types from various areas with different temperaments]
The only thing I would say is to make sure that the glitter you throw, and any other materials you use for that matter, are reusable/biodegradable. It my experience, faeries HATE the pollution, littering, etc that humans have done to this planet. They will not appreciate any plastic or wasteful materials at all, and it might get them on your bad side.
Again with the glitter. If you wish to create a garden for the fae or dedicate a patch of your garden to them, that is fine, but this is not how you do it.
