Or, most likely, you don't seem to understand the purpose of Witchcraft, Spiritual exploration, Introspection, and this site itself. Assuming the latter, as it is the most generous option regarding your character as a person, here is some information;
As a forum, this site is here for discussion and sharing regarding the ideas of if philosophy, religion (secular and non), spirituality, personal growth, and the roles of magic, ritual, and symbolism as they relate to those topics. This includes *challenging information*, debate, evaluation, and comparison of ideas.
However, because the forum is an open one, anyone with the time on their hands can post whatever they want as a spell or article. And while that freedom is necessary and critical to allow people to share ideas it also allows people to share information that is either intentionally, or accidentally, wrong. And when it comes to things being wrong, there are multiple flavors. Some are simple, like designing a spell or ritual under a banner to which it doesn't belong... such as labeling a rite as Wiccan while not adhering to the traditions, processes, or ideas of wicca. Or Asatru, or Hellenism, etcetera.
Or a spell might be built without a logic of symbolism- using items and processes that do not connect the micro of the individual and will with the macro of one's surroundings and environment. The things used, and when they are used, needs to make sense. And needs to come from real things.
Other spells might be missing information. Missing steps the author might have taken for granted or assumed people would know. Or it may be poory written/in need of a revision. Many people have ideas. Relatively few have learned how to put those ideas into well-formed words. It is a difficult task even for the experienced, let alone those who are young and not used to written communication beyond text and Twitter, where simple things like grammar and punctuation seem to be optional. Or, there are the honest challenges people face when English is not a primary language. In both cases, constructive criticism can do wonders in making a feasible rewrite.
And, of course some information is just plain dangerous and harmful. We have all seen spells or articles about magic mixtures and potions, oils and 'cures' that contain genuinely poisonous components, or direct people away from the treatments and medicines they need. Wrong information, deliberate or not, can cause great harm.
And not just physically. Leading a person into a fantasy that will never genuinely happen, while creating the belief that the 'certainly unreal' is 'definitely possible, if you only try hard enough' is as dangerous to a person's mental state as eating a tide pod is to the physical. It just takes a bit longer. And no, this is not an exaggeration. Promoting a person's separation from reality can lead to worsening depressions, escapism that can cross into separation from reality, inflicting of harm on the self and others, accidental suicide, loss of jobs, skipping education, social ostracisation, and all of the complications that can come from those things.
So yes. There are those who have concern for the validity of their practice, and the consequences of misinformation. And so they take on the responsibility of providing correct and healthy information. To teach people and provide grounding, and to re-direct unhealthy or destructive beliefs into constructive and healing ideas.
