are we supposed to make the picture stay on the mirror? or we can hide it after doing the chant?
Unless you speak Latin, there is no point in saying it in Latin. You need to understand what you are saying. While this may set intention, without effort, nothing will change.
...Why are people so insecure nowadays? Nothing will happen if you mispronounce the words... So I'm just going to add an English translation.. In case somebody wants it to actually work.
It says: ''I want the most thin. I am going to be beautiful. Envy of beauty gives me. I thin spikes, and Philemon is blue to catch the goose. Blue is the saying of the Gaul. I be beautiful and weak. So be it!''
If you stumble on the words, the worst that will happen is you lose concentration and the energy will be weaker [doesn't mean the spell will fail, just means it won't be charged to 100% and instead be 90%] The main point I wanted to respond to was questioning why people are insecure. It's always been this way. Specifically with witchcraft and newbies, most people who are new to the craft are terrified of doing a single thing wrong because it'll result in disaster. It won't. Trust me. You learn from your mistakes. Just do the spell. Even if you're missing an item, do it. Even if you're nervous about saying the words wrong, do it. You won't learn unless you try. Take note of how you feel before the spell. After casting the spell, record how it went [how you felt, anything you thought was interesting, how you feel now that it's done] and then be observant for the next moon cycle and record anything you feel is significant. At the end of the 28 days, if there was no change, record that and read over your notes to see what could be improved [this is why you should have a Book of Shadows, Grimoire, or other notebook for your craft] I remember wanting to cast tons of spells in the first few years of my practice but would chicken out because ''What if I mess up?'' but of the handful I did cast, they all worked. Just go for it. If you mess up, the energy will run its course and there are ways to protect yourself [this is why you should know how to cleanse and protect yourself and get into a regular protection/cleansing routine. Daily shielding and energy work is a basic skill and will elevate your practice]
