I call upon the Norse Goddess Hel,
To assist me in this spell
Bad luck,bad luck says me and the goddess Hel
You trip,you loose,you try,and still fail

I call bad luck with the Norse goddess Hel.
Fortun ire tibi malam fortunam
illo venire persona
Desinam eaque militia"

does it work

If you focus enough energy you can curse someone with bad luck. While I feel this does indeed work, I would seriously consider calling on Hel. [especially if you've never worked with her before]She's not evil, but she is intense, and if you just want a little bad luck for someone, calling on a death deity might be like killing an ant with a flamethrower. I would stick to the first verse of this, maybe add something of your own, but I wouldn't include Hel. Just charge yourself with negative energy, imagine what you want to happen, then say the chant to release the energy.
