Simple Divination method using coco-puffs cereal, that I came up with when I was 10 yrs old.

Casting Instructions for 'Cocomancy'
You will need the following items for this spell:
Your favorite bowl and spoon
Cocopuffs
Milk
Good visualization/imagination
Your mouth
Your eyes
A piece of paper
Pen
Book of symbols and imagery meanings
Or a really good memory in place of (*)'s.

#1. Make a bowl of Cocopuffs, and eat them until there is only a single layer of Cocopuffs left floating in the bowl. None under nor above them.
#2. Now eat 3 spoonfuls of cereal, keeping the spoon out of the bowl, and allowing the cocopuffs to spiral and gravitate together.
#3. Once they have stopped moving, observe the pattern of the cluster of cocopuffs, and make a note of what images, or symbols you see.
(This will be the events that happen within a few hrs to a day.)
#4. Next eat 1 spoonful of Cocopuffs, scattering them around the bowl, allowing the cereal to spiral and regravitate together forming images. Write down everything you see.
#5. Repeat #3. The images and symbols depectied here represent the events of the following week to half-month.
#6. Repeat#4.
#7. Repeat #3. Half-month to 3 months.
#8. Repeat #4.
#9. Repeat #3. 3 months to 6 months.
#10. Repeat#4.
#11. Repeat #3. 6-9 months
#12. Repeat #4.
#13. Repeat #3. 9 months to 12 months
#14. You should have finished your Cocopuffs @ this point, so drink your milk if you want. If you're not, take bigger bites next time. :p
#15. Finally, you will just need to look up the meaning of all you seen or write out what they mean to you. Put the meanings into context of subjects life and arrange into the time frame mentioned and voila'!!! You have a complete Divination from a 10 yr old me lol... Good times....

They called it Cocomancy, which is cute. They've created their own form of divination. I've heard of stranger forms of divination [I heard of a woman who uses asparagus] This could work. It feels like tasseography [reading tea leaves or coffee grinds in a cup] or aeromancy [reading clouds] silly as it sounds, some people could find this useful. Not everyone connects with tarot or runes. There are thousands of forms of divination, so whatever works. [think about picking petals off a flower, that's a kids game, but it can be a form of divination]
Cute. I am unsure how effective this is. Also, I do not eat cereal so I could not test it, but it might work for some. At the very least, it is a cute thing for kids to try.
