Night draw a Septgram (label all of the elements) with chalk on the driveway. Stand in the center of the Septgram. Say "I summon a helper." (be warned the helper is a ghost and cannot come inside the Septgram) say "you will do my bidding or I shall burn you in a spirit candle!"

To get rid of him/her because you don't need them any more draw the Septgram the same as the above directions and again at night say "come fourth my helper, I do not need you any longer. you may disappear to your new home."

To make sure he/she doesn't turn into a demon cast a protection spell for helpers on them.
If they try to kill or hurt someone when you don't want them to just threaten to burn them in a spirit candle.

Can this spell create a spirit?

As outlined, this is fake. This person seems to be creating a thoughtform, but uses no Magikal energy to create an energetic being. Thoughtforms are simply energy you pooled into a shape. Once the energy runs out, they vanish. They will not go rogue and attack people. Thoughtforms are a type of energy manipulation, not a spell. Instead of focusing the psi ball into an object to charge for a spell, imagine a companion and the energy will take on this form. You can continue to charge it, even ground it. Guardians are basically thoughtforms who protect your home and are energetically connected to an energy source. Thoughtforms are rather simple and can't do much unless you plan to create a different energetic being. You don't need chalk, symbols, or chants to make a thoughtform unless it helps you concentrate. This spell does not work.
