I find the chant a little insulting [charm of life and death specifically] but you can call on Dragons to enchant your objects. This particular one I don't think would work.

The first time I saw this charm was from a book called 'the 21 lessons of Merlin's. I know it has been around for quite a long time but I have yet to discover its origins. My understanding is that 'charm of death and life' is akin to calling something the alpha and omega, or 'be-all and end-all'. I see this short prayer as essentially saying; Great serpent who'se very breath is the beginning and ending of all, bring (this thing I want) to reality/fruition.

A chance could enchant an object or be used for simplistic spells. However, you cannot summon anything by only saying a vague chant. As outlined, this does not work.
