Casting Instructions for 'Truth you speak'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • White candle
  • Picture of the person (optional)
  • Piece of paper with the persons name on (optional)

Light the candle (at night before you go to sleep) and say:

"To see the truth,to know the way. I cast a spell every day. By the power of three,I conjure thee to give the truth to thy,unto me"

Then blow out the candle saying the persons name.

in the morning light the candle and say the spell again and blow it out saying the persons name..... and say it through the smoke of it.

does the person have to speak the truth for their whole life or will it work only one time? also does it only work with you, or do they have to say the truth with everybody?

Not bad. This could work but truth spells are tricky. The spell needs to either be strong enough to overpower their free will, cause them torment until they confess, or cause evidence against them to surface. The outline of this spell is accurate, but it would require more energy. Take your time with this spell. Charge the candle with Magikal energy and you imagine them confessing. I would also carve the persons full name into the candle as well as a sigil of your own design that would represent truth/honesty. As the candle burns, repeat the chant. When you feel the energy is at its peak, blow out the candle. I would also recommend divining with the candle as you cast. How the candle is burning, the wax, and any smoke can help you decipher if the spell will work or not.
