Is it a familiar spell?

Familiars are spirits, not physical animals. Also, this spell seems pretty unlikely to work. I could see magick helping in forming a bond with an animal, but you can't just say a sentence and have a wild bird suddenly trust you. You could get a pet bird if you want one, though, and you can gain a familiar spirit if you choose (though you should research the topic thoroughly before delving into that).
