Casting Instructions for 'Phoenix Companion'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • 1 candle (optional)
  • 1 sheet of paper
  • 1 pencil
  • a round stone
  • a hard surface
  • night
  • belief in magic
  • the ability to be calm
  • good intentions

Before you go to bed, get out a sheet of paper and a pencil. You may choose to light a candle. Sit at a hard surface and calm your body. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Draw your dream phoenix on the paper. Write it's name above it. You can't change this name after summoning it. Have it's gender in your mind. Fold the paper in thirds so you can't se the drawing. Put it near a round stone under your pillow to keep it warm. Before falling asleep, chant the words three times: Spirit of Fire. Guardian of the flame, make this a phoenix egg.

Note: it might just be an illusion, but it is yours and nobody else's.
