Please, do not combine random runes if you do not understand the language. Runes, specifically The Elder Futhark (Norse Runes), have spirits attached to them. Each symbol gets its power from the spirit connected with it. You can combine runes to make a specific type of rune. For instance, you could combine Fehu (wealth) and Jera (harvest) to have an abundant harvest. However, if you combine Ehwaz and Mannaz in the hopes of casting a spell to be a lucky man this combination could also read horse man if drawn incorrectly.
