This spell will conjure a bright spark. Take great care, as it can easily ignite wood.

Casting Instructions for 'Alchemical Spark'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • A pinch of magnesium powder.
  • A pinch of manganese powder.
  • Some glue.
  • A small sheet of paper.
  • A black pen.
  • A flame of a candle or a lighter (for casting).

  • A pinch of manganese powder.
  • Some glue.
  • A small sheet of paper.
  • A black pen.
  • A flame of a candle or a lighter (for casting).

Inscribe the paper as to draw spirits of fire to it.

Mix the powders while chanting:

  • "Metal, fire, magic mark,
  • Hear my will and make a spark!"

Add glue to the mix and roll a ball; wrap it in the paper while the glue hadn't dried out yet. Chant:

  • "Water, plant, all world around.
  • The fire sleeps until it's doubled."

Let the ball dry. Now you have prepared the alchemical component of the spell.

When you want to cast it, light the ball on fire while chanting:

  • "Here I give the second fire.
  • Spark of flame is my desire!"

Throw the ball before the spell activates. You should have a bright spark and a bit of fire.

I do not see how this is magic. Magnesium burns with a bright light by it's self, adding the manganese powder will only color the flame.

It's alchemy, which is a medieval mix of magick and chemistry [i don't study it but I have seen Fullmetal Alchemist and FMA Brotherhood if that counts which it doesn't] so the idea of this spell, to a degree, is alchemy. Also, since magick is an energy that bring change it could be considered magick too. So in theory if you charge this with energy and when you throw it ''releasing'' said energy, you could make this a spell, and the spark is a parlour trick [or possibly some people would feel it makes the spell more ''real'' like how my friend stomps his foot to ground energy while I just lightly tap the ground with my hands. Same result, but it feels ''right'' for us to do it our way]

Alchemy is a way to improve one's magical capabilities through materials - few can conjure flame out of thin air, but amplifying fire made by chemical reactions is much easier.

wow that is a strong spell, i just did it without stuff and caused vision/improved third eye seeing
