Wonderful post. As a reiki master, I must say I enjoyrd reading this, well done.
Reiki is in my own personal experience also good for psychic developement. an attunement is also good for kundalini.
When you recieve an attunement it can also be good for healing the new practioner.
Reiki is also great for the practise of using energy.
When I'm doing a reiki self healing or any meditation involving the use of energy, wherever my cat is in my house, even if shes asleep, she will come straight to where I am, to sit near me and touch me, as if she wants some of the energy too.
Also when doing reiki it doesn't use up your own energy resources, as the healing energy comes from the universe through the practitioner as a channel, so it is also good for the practitioner to give treatments.

These lessons will let you preform energy healing at it's most basic form, no need of any type of medical/energetic knowledge is needed. Only intent and visualization.
To start with, a few meditations that you can use prior to attempting to start healing practice;
A candle meditation (focal) will be first:
The following exercise will be described in terms of a candle flame. If you at all can, you should seek out a candle and perform this with an actual candle flame, as the flame does an excellent job of drawing your attention and preparing you for later work with chi. If you are unable to do this, substitute the flame in the following description for the focal object of your choice.
Take a candle into a dark quiet room, and place it somewhere free of clutter so you do not become easily distracted while meditating. Light the candle, and then sit comfortably one or two meters (three to six feet, almost) away from the candle.
Relax your body and mind as much as you can, and watch the candle flame. Do not strain your eyes while focusing on the candle flame, as the focusing you will be doing is in your mind, not in your eyes. Clear all of your thoughts, and focus them only on the flame. When thoughts come to your mind, be passive toward your thoughts, allowing them to pass over you and through you, but do not acknowledge the thoughts. Keep the entirety of your awareness only on the candle flame.
Continue to focus on the candle flame for around 45-60 minutes consecutively (for this healing exercise, you do not have to meditate the entire time for this meditation, 15-25 minutes should be plenty enough). If you find yourself distracted and losing focus, simply correct your focus and awareness back to the candle flame, and continue your practice. With practice, focal meditation will become easier, and you will be able to reach deep meditative states much more quickly.
And now, the most common of meditations, a deep breathing meditation;
This meditation is fairly simple, you breath.
To start, you need to sit down, with your back straight and get comfortable (not military straight, but not so loose that you bend you spine so much). Close your eyes, take in a deep breath through your nose, as you do your belly will expand out. (called belly breathing). Hold that breath for a second, then release, through your mouth. When breathing out, your belly should flatten back out. Wait a second, and breath back in, deeply. Hold. Then release. Do this about ten times or until you are relaxed. Belly breathing helps with chi flow in your body, so it is important to do it. There are some people that can not breath deeply through their nose, due to asthma or another respiratory illness, so then you would just breath in and out from your mouth, and as deeply as you can.
Or you can use any other basic type of meditation that you wish, the goal is to relax your mind and body to where you can work more efficiently.
A brief overview with self-healing;
Chi energy when utilized for healing can do many extraordinary things, but an individual should keep in mind that chi is useful beyond these common means. One of the more useful ways in which to utilize energy is in healing. Healing the self, or more properly yourself, may be undertaken on a physical, mental, or spiritual level with psi.
Physical injuries, however great, may be healed using chi. In order for the body to heal itself it requires the proper flow of energy into, around, and out of the injured area. While it is absolutely necessary to take every physical step possible to heal that is not enough since there needs to be a proper flow of energy as well. Taking a simple cut on the finger as an example there are obvious steps that physically should be taken. Foremost apply pressure and stem, preferably stop, the flow of blood. If possible elevate the wound and apply ice to reduce swelling and to constrict blood flow. When possible clean the wound to help reduce the possibility of infection. Since this is a simple cut there is no need to seek further medical assistance, but this step should be taken when warranted by the injury. In order to properly heal yourself you must ensure your safety and that the body does not go into shock. You must also be aware that fear either through pain or knowledge of the injury does not take hold since fear negates the effectiveness of the chi energy. So, it is at this point after having looked after the physical aspects of healing that you should attempt to heal the wound with chi energy. With the simple cut example, chi may now be called upon to re-grow tissue to seal the wound, kill any invading infection and retrain the body?s natural flow of energy through the area. As it has been shown chi should not be relied upon as the sole means of healing, but rather as a supplementary means to traditional medicine (within bounds. Some traditional medicine is just too harmful to the body to even attempt. In which cases, you should seek out professionals of the healing arts). When dealing with physical healing caution should be exercised with the eyes, as they don?t handle excess energy well, which can lead to more harm from the healing than good (such is the case when you lack control and precission. You must learn to control each point of your energy to a fine 'tip' and have notice and awareness of your entire body at the same time. Otherwise, you could accidentally cause some damage, which can be helped, but it is often best to avoid backtracking.). Overall though, using chi to assist in physical healing contributes to quicker and more effective cures. Physical healing is not the only use of psi though; psi may be used to effectively control or even cure mental conditions.
Some mental illnesses may be cured, or handled by a person capable of carrying out outcomes. Self-healing is highly unlikely in those not mentally capable of psi; however with training and time non-severe cases may show improvement. In healing mental blocks or issues the individual is looking to re-pattern the manner in which the brain handles impulses. Essentially a mental healing is a redistribution of energy patterns. With fixing energy patterns a person must realize they are changing their character and may have personality alterations. When done correctly the rearrangement of mental energy pathways can give a person their life back. However mental changes are extremely difficult and precise understanding of alterations is necessary. Mental path healings are certainly not meant for any but advanced healers. Healing the mind and body are exceptional uses of chi but a person may also utilize the energy to heal, for lack of a better word, their soul.
Healing the soul isn?t actually as difficult as it may seem. Spirituality, or the link to energy near Oneness, requires the proper flow of energy through the body. Central energy is the energy that fuels and sustains life and is the soul of an individual. Should there be a block, redirection, or interruption in flow a person will respond accordingly. Self-healing the soul requires that an individual identify any inconsistencies in their energetic flow and then take steps to correct those issues. The proper flow of energy is clockwise around the body with no interruptions that would reduce flow to any area. This not only means that Central energy must move accordingly but also that physical and mental aspects must be addressed to account for their energy interruptions. To heal the spiritual aspects of the individual the flow of energy needs to be continuous and unbroken.
Healing the self is not simply setting out with the goal but also following through. One must ensure that all aspects of a healing are stepped through accordingly so that the desired effect is realized. Healing requires details and understating of biology,anatomy, neurology, the energy bodies, and the meridian system of the body. An understanding of psychology can also be useful in healing. Of course these understanding are not absolutely crucial but they do help in perfected outcomes, which makes studying them highly recommended. Understanding what is actually being healed creates a solid intent and efficient outcome. Above all don?t simply hope to help when healing with chi energy, but rather realize what healing is.
Now, on to a set of exercises that should very well help you to get a hold of basic healing structures and methods.
This firsrt exercise is about Observation;
This is the first exercise that will increase your understanding and ability in healing. You begin by learning about how energy works in your own body. By now, you should have a fundamental understanding of energy and how to use it and sense it. If not, go back and study the basics.
First, you must take note of your body in several stages. The first is you ''body at rest.'' When you are completely relaxed, shut your eyes and visualize the flow of energy throughout your body. This is your body expending the least amount of energy needed to survive. Deviations (changes) from this will show activity.
Next, we must observe yourself in motion. For example, while taking a walk, or jogging. You can watch the energy flow freely throughout your body, providing the energy necessary for locomotion. Everything should be working efficiently (assuming you are in good health).
The more difficult stage to observe is the body during illness or injury. It is important to observe these changes from the norm in yourself, so that you are able to notice them in others. Remember, when working on a client, one may not have the ''healthy'' baseline to refer to. Therefore, you must be able to recognize unhealthy patterns of energy.
The time it takes to observe these energy states is continuous - energy is constantly being changed and molded. Also, different ailments produce different energies. With patience and eternal vigilance, you will be a well practiced diagnostician.
This second exercise is about Self-Healing;
After completing the first exercise, you are familiar with the way your body moves energy around, and how it responds to threats and injuries. Using this knowledge, you will more easily be able to manipulate your body's energy in order to direct it to where it is needed most. Please keep in mind, however, that your body carries out more functions than you are aware of at any given moment, and drawing too much energy from them can have drastic results. Be sure to have adequate nutritional intake before attempting to manipulate your body's energy, and afterwards to recover what is used.
First, identify the area in need of healing. It will most likely show up as a pattern of energy that does not blend in with the surrounding energy of the body. In your mind, see energy being collected throughout your body, and intent it with healing. See it moving toward your injured area, enveloping the irregular energy. Watch as it consumes the irregular energy, until the healing energy is all that remains. Leave this collection of healing energy stay in this location for a time to continue healing the damage, and it will most likely dissipate on its own.
Continue practicing this method until you are fairly quick and effective with it, and then move on to the next lesson.
The third lessons if for healing others;
Now that you have learned to repair the energetic causes of pain/diseases/illnesses/etc, you can begin to work on foreign energies. The work you have done previously was to prepare you for the responsibility of manipulating energy in the body of another. The difference being, instead of moving energy around inside of your own body, you must gather it, and project it into the body of another. This takes a great deal of energy, as it must bypass all energy filters and shields that the other person has around them.
To keep resistance to a minimum, it is good practice to obtain consent from the recipient. This informs them of the incoming energy, and allows them to accept it more openly (which drops shields). Failure to do this is considered unethical, anyhow. So, make sure you do it.
When the energy is transferred to the other person, you have two options. First, you can retain control of your energy, and guide it to the proper locations for maximum healing. Second, you can let the energy take course through a healing intent. This allows it to seek out any place it is needed, and at times will find problem spots you may not have known existed. Good luck on your continued healing endeavors.
The fourth lesson is for healing at a distance;
Distance healing is one of the more common methods of healing that you will use if you are an ''internet practitioner,'' as you will not have physical contact with your target. You will most likely not even be located anywhere near the target, for that matter. The most important thing to remember for distance healing, as with any distance energy work, is that space is irrelevant. However, we are accustomed to interacting with out immediate environment only. Therefore, we must work around this block until it becomes second nature to ignore spacial/spatial restraints.
There are many visualizations which can assist with distance healing. The easiest approach is to decide which way to send the energy to the person. Will you send it to them via a cord of energy? Will your energy-self bi-locate to the target and heal them directly? Or will you pull some of their energy to you and heal it, sending it back after wards? The last option is the most difficult, and least efficient, so let us concentrate on the first two.
Sending Your Energy to the Target Through a Connection
This method is straightforward - you must visualize a ''cord'' or ''umbilicus'' (or whatever imagery is most potent for you) that travels to the person and connects with them. This cord must have a channel for sending energy through to the target, and a channel returning for ''feedback'' on your healing progress. If you find that your energy dissipates before reaching the target, try shielding the cord with a reflective surface on the inner surface to keep energy from escaping. This intent should up your power potential.
Then, intent the energy to travel through the cord to the target, and instructing it to either heal the location at which it is located, to travel through the body to the afflicted area, or to cause a ''blanket effect'' over the person, healing anything it can. When the healing is finished, dissipate the connection slowly, without ''breaking'' it off quickly; this can cause some psychic backlash or else a nasty headache.
Energy Bi-location to Healing Target
This technique is slightly more complicated. You must ''lock on'' to the target's location, and imagine your energy self there. It requires more focus and concentration to hold that image and the healing intents, but it can make up for energy path-loss with distance connections.
When you have arrived at the target's location, you may begin healing by ''touching'' the person and transferring energy, or whatever method is more comfortable for you to accomplish. When you have finished, merely re-transfer your conscious thoughts back to your body and your energy self will retract. Attempt both methods to find your comfort zone, and then try to bolster your weaker method. One can never know which will be needed under specific circumstances.
The fifth lesson covers sympathetic healing;
Now that you have had continued practice with the four previous exercises, you can now advance to more 'refined' healing. Small disturbances in a person's bodily energy can be more easily detected with practice and an increased awareness of the energetic interplay between the client's and your own energies.
When you are in the process of healing someone, begin by concentrating on not how the person feels, but how you feel while in contact with that person. The disruptive energy contained within your client will attempt to spread itself to you - and while this is not a good thing on the surface, it can be used to your advantage. You should be shielded before healing to prevent this effect, however, you will still feel 'sympathetic' effects from the disruptive energy and your connection to your client.
Notice any sudden twinges of pain, or shifts in consciousness. These can be strong indicators of problems that are existing in your client. Use your own feelings to guide your energy to the most efficient healing locations. Relief of your own symptoms is usually a positive sign of properly applied healing. When you have managed to alleviate your own symptoms, you may begin to 'wrap up' your energy transfers and intents, and leave a few behind with the intent to continue healing or act as a 'watchdog' to prevent from relapse. Continued practice with this technique will greatly refine your ability to treat acute symptoms with greater speed. If at first you do not feel anything, do not be discouraged. Open your mind to subtle feelings and even some 'gut' feelings. Your client will thank you in the end.
After some work on basis exercises, you should be good enough to move on to practicle applications. The first of the two segmented lessons is the easiest and most basic form of using chi energy to heal the physical body.

Lesson One;
This is Chi Healing at it's most basic. Simple way to use, but it is still effective with practice. just like everything else.
First, you need to calm your mind and relax your body, prior meditation is useful, and focus. Don't let your mind wonder around. Keep your focus on the task at hand. Let's assume you have a patient. Now, after you have your focus, do the normal start-up. You can be sitting or standing for this, just as long as the person you are healing is in front of you, lets have it by sitting this time. So, you're sitting there, they are laying down in front of you. You can either preform the healing from here, or do a scan. I will go over scanning in the lesson following this one. Gather your chi, flow it up your chest, to your arms, down to you hands. Once the chi gets to your hands, do not pool it, instead flow it out of your palms and onto the body of your patient. See your chi leave your palms and go down to your patient. ''Feel'' it meet with their skin, and let it seep down into them, filling their body, driving out the 'bad' chi and energy that has built up in the body. Keep flowing the chi to them until you feel that they have enough. Dismiss your chi by stopping the flow from your hands to the person, do not pull it back out, and let it 'disconnect' and flow back into your body and back to your sternum. This method is great for overall healing, energy boost, giving stamina, fevers and simple things. You can also apply the chi to a certain point for healing. The points that you direct chi to will be outlined in a more advanced healing lesson, presented after the scanning overview. This is basic for starting out healing with chi energy.
Scanning entails searching an area or being for any given thing. I will go over a basic technique for scanning a person from any distance or any location and slightly more difficult versions in order to get more detailed information.
Basics
To be simplistic about it, scanning is a matter of linking up to your target, be that person or place, and being able to perceive the target to get the desired information. So initially to create the connection I would recommend extending your energy out to the target by use of name, photo, phone number, or other such things that may be personal to that person. Something personal that will be laced with that person or places an energy signature.
An energy signature is different for each person/area. It is basically like and energy fingerprint of the person. This is found in objects they use or words they type due to intent they use toward those things. The signature, being personal, is what you will link to and that is linked to the person, thus creating your connection to them. In order to extend your energy to that person you could use visualizations of a chain of energy coming from you; or you can picture that object, or the person/places name and feel yourself moving out to that point or extending there. This connection can be made over most any distance on the planet. The medium, which used to create or send it through doesn?t make a difference either, but the longer the connection, the more energy necessary to create it. The difficulty of connecting to someone across the globe is little different then to connection to someone on the other side of the house. Although energy is not limited by time nor space, the mind does not always agree. Mental blocks are needed to be overcome at all levels, and take time to do so. It will happen with practice and patience.
Now that your connection has been made, your intent is to be expressed. You should focus your mind on what you are looking for or what you are looking at. As though you were looking around the room normally or perhaps an object. This is also similar to telepathic techniques in Psionics, so they are referred to, in which you are ?scanning? the object at hand for particular color or shape. It?s at this point where, if you don?t get a good mental visual or are just unsure, you ask questions of your subconscious. Ask yourself in the back of your mind a simple question (?What color is it?? or ?Is it blue?, etc). What you feel is correct will be the answer, or if you are simply answered with a yes or no. Each person is different in this respect and what shall be returned from the subconscious or how is determined only by that person. Just as how you attain the information, by seeing or asking, is person specific.
After scanning, always remember to close the connection, either by imagining your cutting it or simply by filtering. Connections left open can bring in unwanted things from the target such as feelings, possibly parasites, or other such things may occur. So unless you are prepared for what is to come from the other end, close the connection.
More Specific Scanning
This section is applicable to those who practiced the first section to a point of ease.
Scanning can be used to find more specific details than the more simple tasks covered before. These tasks separate scanning into categories: Physical scans, which involve the scanning for a persons physical traits such as eye color or what their face may look like; energy body scans, which are scans of a persons energy self. It is not limited to just these, but these are the types that shall be addressed.
Physical scans aren?t much different from a normal scan except that the focus is on the person?s physical traits. I recommend breaking down what you are looking for. Start with eye color, by focusing on it as you would normally. Then by asking yourself or from actual site you achieve your answer. From here, move on to hair color, then to face shape, and other specifics. Then try to put it all together and focus on a scan of the large picture. The previous information will make it much easier to then see the whole picture. If difficulty persists, simplify it further. If it?s easy, look at larger parts at a time.
Energy body scans are a scan of a person?s energy. It is literally the placement and flow of a person?s energy. It is typical that this is what is seen when initially scanning a person. If you don?t get this upon scanning a person then focus on their energy, focus on finding and seeing it inside of them. This scan is particularly useful. Once you have become used to scanning to find the energy body then you can be more specific with it. Shift your focus along the energy body like you would move a telescope. Think to yourself on where you would like to go, focus on going there, thus moving your focus. It?s just like focusing on your hand and moving your energy in or out of it. Envision your energy going to where you would like your sight to go. This isn?t necessary if a good visual can?t be produced. The same process of questioning as said earlier can find the specific factors. The energy body, also containing energy flow, can have blockages. They tend to appear as dark spots on the energy body, this can be caused by a number of things. Similarly, constructs or other energy may be seen around it. This can be identified by focusing on them as you would an object or person. Then questioning its construction, the way stated previously. There are many other facets to the energy body that will not be covered in this article.
Important Note:
These are just examples of what can be accomplished as ability increases and is not limited to this. I can?t stress this enough. This is a basic overview of what you can do to achieve this and you should create your own technique. The best techniques are the ones that fit your needs, in other words, the best technique for me isn?t necessarily the best for you. So this can be used as a starting block for your own design, or, if it works, stick with what you are doing. Just as well, your morals behind it are your own; keep in mind that this should only be done with permission of the person being scanned. It?s just like peeking through someone?s window, you act in a way where the person may not be aware of you and you invade his or her privacy. I leave that up to you. But be warned if you are to encounter an unhappy person who discovers what has occurred.
Before moving on, a few more things can be introduced to help aid you in your knowledge and practice of healing.
Direct Connection Healing encompasses Hands On Healing, Hands Off Healing, and Remote Connection Healing.
Let?s begin by dealing with Hands On, and Hands Off Healing. The main difference between the two techniques is that one requires the healer to directly touch the affected area, and the other only requires the healer to hover their hand over the affected area, or to send the energy from a distance (but the distance must be within the healer?s line of sight). The easiest way to teach healing is by example, and so let us try that way.
If a person cuts their forearm with a knife their skin?s energy flow is immediately disrupted in that area. The area directly surrounding the knife wound will quickly have its flow of energy cut and the area will become a block, or stagnant pool of energy. The goal in healing the forearm is first to locate the edges of the block and through visualization remove it. Once the block is removed the person?s own energy will begin to circulate around the wounded area again. At this point the person could actually be left to heal on their own, but in healings that isn?t often done. The next thing a healer must do is to put up an energy screen over the wound so that negative energy does not enter the person?s body (the screen has also been shown to help decrease the spread of bacteria as if one applied an antibacterial ointment, and the screen also reduces the infiltration of viral bodies which reduces infection rates). At this point there is energy flowing to the wound and a field over the affected area to help reduce energy and physical infection. The next step in the healing process is to apply actual healing energy to the area. To do this visualize the goal of repairing the damaged physical area and send that energy down through your palms to the affected area. This energy should help in the closing of the wound through the growth of new tissue and binding of that new tissue with the existing tissue. When doing this you should notice an automatic response by the healee?s energy to mimic what yours are doing. In this way wounds are able to be healed.
But what if the wound is not actually physical (ie. headache, back pain)? In these cases there are still energy blocks that are creating the physical pain to the person. The blocks, as before, must be removed and the person?s energy must be allowed to circulate over the affected area. Healing energy goals are then applied by the healer to ease the pain and through visualization correct the underlying problem.
To achieve Remote Healing the easiest way is through first creating a healing connection with the person you wish to heal. Each of the subsequent steps are the same for remote healing as they are for hands on/off healing except there is no physical closeness between the healer and the healee and everything must be achieved through constant goal visualization.
Note that a wound does not have to be 100% healed if you need to leave it to continue at another time. The most important steps are those up to and including getting the healee?s energies to mimic the healing energy that you send as the healer. If the healer leaves at, or after that point in the healing then the person being healed would have their own energies continue to heal them until the wound is fixed, or a block is erected again. If a block is put back in place then the healing must start from the beginning, but if not the healer can simply rejoin with the healing energy.
This is a self healing technique that I got from some of the Pagan's that I used to work a lot with, back in the day.
Find a comfortable position where you can relax without physical discomfort or interruption. You may lay down, sit with your legs crossed or in a comfortable chair. Concentrate on connecting with the Divine Spirit, whatever you think that is. Imagine the spirit energy as bright white healing energy. Connect with the healing spirit energy by visualizing your bright white energy melding with the bright white spirit energy that enters your body through the top of your head. This energy arrives from the center of the universe to fill your body and ground you with the earth. Visualize your energy like the strong roots and branches of a tree, stretching both up and down with the same natural force. Calm your mind and focus on the energy, seeking out blockages in your physical, mental and emotional body. Visualize the powerful white healing spirit energy cleaning the blockages. With time and practice, the gentle energetic hum will increase and your over-all spiritual vibration will increase, healing your mind, body and spirit. Use healing spirit energy techniques whenever you feel tired, depressed or ill. Remember that the healing spirit energy is love. Accept subtle guidance and allow the light to move through you always.
Now, on to the more 'advanced' version of chi healing, which involves a few specifics.
Lesson two;
This is a more advanced lesson on chi healing. Although, I will be keeping it simple. You need to be able to do basic Chi Healing, which is just energy flow from you to another, pretty much. After you can do that, you can move on to the ''real'' part of healing. The location aspect, where you treat areas. First, a bit of history and what not.
Chinese philosophical thought, of which Chinese medicine is merely one part of, is a vast body of knowledge. The history of Chinese medicine in China is long and illustrious. There have been a great many of schools that have placed a slightly different emphasis on certain aspects of treatment. That led to the rich and varied tradition which continues to the present day.
The main and first point is that Chi, energy, flows throughout the body. It flows through meridians, channels, and passes to the internal organs, and together with blood, it supplies nourishment to the body and ensures it's normal functioning.
When Chi and blood, the basis of life, are balanced within the body and flow harmoniously we are healthy. Chi and blood are aspects of Yang and Yin respectively.
Yin and Yang are important. Balance is the key here.
Alright, Chi is the life-force of which the physical body depends, so your health is dependent on three simple factors: The smooth flow of Chi and blood together, Quality of Chi and blood, and the correct functioning of the organs. The flow of Chi and be experienced during meditation practice, Chi kong (qigong) or when having treatments using Chi.
Now, about Meridians, they are the channels in which chi and blood flow which pass on the surface of the body as well as deep within it to connect with the internal organs and give life to the whole body.
There are twelve main meridians within the body, each is associated with an organ and there are energy points along each channel which allows practitioners to access the chi and treat the disorder of the organ.
Meridians can provide information about the organ related to a particular organ. For example, headaches at the side of the head are frequently related to (as in, not all of the time, but most of the time) the Gall Bladder channel as it supplies this area of the head. This way, the meridians and points can be used to treat symptoms that may appear to be completely unrelated to the organ concerned. There are several methods of treatment which directly affect the meridians.
http://tinypic.com/r/2hgec6b/3
Follow this link to the image, I suggest that you save this picture to your computer so that you can study it. You should also do alternative studying, on acupressure points, the meridian system and/or Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
This is where the main channels and points are that you will need to know for this lesson. Study it. Learn it. Use it.
The Chakras;
Chakras are the internal centers that are activated, and relate to, the energy points on the meridians. They are the body's focal points through which Chi flows. There are seven main chakras and every chakra has a corresponding organ in our physical system:
Root - It is located at the base of the spine, it belongs together with the large intestine and the rectum. It also has a certian influence of the kidneys.
Navel - The navel chakra belongs to the reproduction system, the testicles and ovaries and also the urinary bladder and kidneys.
Solar Plexus - is related to the stomach, pancreas, liver, the upper portion for the small intestines and other digestive organs. It is connected to the immune system.
Heart - The Heart chakra is located in the center of the body, right of the physical heart. It belongs to the heart and arms.
Throat - The throat chakra is connected to the thyroid gland and tied in with the voice. It relates to the throat and lungs.
Third eye - It is also called the brow chakra, and is located in the forehead. It belongs to the brain and face. (the nose, eyes and ears, ect.)
Crown - The crown chakra is located on the top of the head. It does not have a corresponding organ, but is related to the whole being.
If you are unsure about how to do chi healing, then you need to re-do basic chi healing. This is the same thing, only more direct and centered, so it boosts the power and ability.

For those that cannot visualize can use the sensation of feeling the energy of light and for those that can this is also helpful.
First relax the body and be comfortable in the environment you are in without interruption. One you have relaxed feel a beautiful white light entering the crown chakra which is the top of your head for those that don't know. Feel the warmth of this healing light slowly releasing any tension you may be feeling around the head.. feel it lift away. then allow this light move slowly to the third eye.... to the eyes...cheeks...ears..nose..mouth...jaw and chin.. release the tension with the healing light.. then continue to the throat...shoulders..chest...heart..feel this light entering your heart removing any heaviness in it and allow the healing to begin. You may use this technique from head to toes or where you feel you need it.
