Hold the stone in your hand and repeat these words in a clear steady voice:
''Lapis Lazuli, You charm my fears, The power of mind is yours. Let my courage appear, Let my courage soar. So Mote it be.''
Keep the crystal with you during the task you are preforming. If you feel your courage waning, touch the crystal and renew it.

Love this spell. You might wish to keep the lapis lazuli in your pocket so in the beginning when you feel nervous you can hold the stone and take a few deep breaths, reminding yourself of the intent you set that morning [or whenever you said the chant]

I know this is specifically for lapis lazuli, but could it work for any other crystal as long as you substitute the name in the chant?

You don't need a courage crystal. I personally just take a stone from the ground that feels nice and welcoming, then simply charge them with my intention. Simple, and quiet useful for those in the Broom Closet. My parents thought I was sort of weird before I found Wicca, so they didn't really bat an eye to me bringing stones for divination into the house. It's pretty easy to charge stones, it's not as pretty or as powerful, but it works
