You are human, so it will not work. More importantly, while you can use the moon to charge objects, it will not give you super powers.
Well it will work if you are not human...
Like a wolf, owl, dragon, whale, werewolf or anything els it will surely be working....
Too bad you're a human. If you were an animal you couldn't type this out, Dragons and werewolves aren't physical beings. Research real magick before spouting such nonsense in future Silverwing. Magick doesn't contradict nature, real magick effects energy to bring a desired change through natural means.
Nekoshema, tecnicaly ''dragons'' are real, but not in the sense of being magical and animals (such as monkeys) can be trained to type on a keyboard, so there is the possibility (however unlikely) that Silverwing could be nonhuman. I do agree with you, Nekoshema, on all other counts.
Nekoshema, not to start any argument (ofc) more of a friendly debate but have humans not been taking things from nature and using said things to defy nature for hundreds if not thousands of years, not that I'm agreeing with the possibility of this spells success but is magic not like many other parts of nature, and can someday somehow be used, much like the creation of say the airplane, to defy what is now conceived as simply impossible?
I don't mind friendly debates [honestly, I reget my response to Silverwing, I was probably annoyed that day because I remember a time being frustrated with these comments] regarding your response, people have worked with the earth, have found ways to make work easier, but their invention isn't found in nature. When I'm talking nature, I mean trees, rocks, animals. Naturally occurring things. You can cast a spell to inspire you to build an airplane, but airplanes don't grow on trees, so you can't cast a spell hoping to grow an airplane. The spells section is set up more like Twitter, it's better for small responses over the forum where I could type out paragraphs to explain my side, so I try to use statements to get to my point instead of ''maybes.'' Humans by nature can't change their form from human to animal. You wish to work with faeries like you would deities? Fine. You believe you can mentally shift into a wolf and wander the woods? That's fine too. What this spell claims is you can make a ring to grant you powers on the physical that we were not born with. That would contradict nature, so we can conclude with certainty it wouldn't work. If this was a ring to inspire you to build a flamethrower, I would give it a ''maybe'' as it sounds plausible, but that's not what this spell claims. If someone read the spell, read the comments, and chose to try it anyway, I'm fine with that too. We made our point as to why it doesn't work, if someone still has doubts and tries it, I would hope they would be wise enough to accept reality should this not work, instead of doubling down on their frustration, lashing out at others, and then trying more dangerous spells [because I have found spells on this site in the past that claim they totally work if you do some rather extreme things like drink poison or kill yourself. These spells should be reported to the site admin immediately, and they have been, but I worry some people might try it because desperate/stubborn people can do extreme things]
Magick has its limits. I don't know if you agree with me but I personally think that you cant turn into a mermaid. Mermaids dont exist. Even if they did they probably wouldn't show themselves. Magick isnt what they make it look like in the movies where there are sparkly light balls that grow plants or magical flying books or fire balls that magically appear in a person's hand. I believe magick is a nature based energy art anyone can study about and maybe even learn about it if they put the time and effort into it.
Ya all know stories about dragons, but how do I know which stories are true and which ones are leading me astray
Before anyone says anything about the dragon thing, I'm referring to bearded dragons, Komodo dragons, and Draco lizards when I say '''dragons' are real, but not in the sense of being magical''
Dragons are believed by some to be astral beings like spirits. While things like Komodo and Bearded Dragons are physically real, unless specified, the majority of Pagans will assume you're referring to the spiritual beings [just saying you need to specify in the spell in future to prevent confusion, as well as to help people cast correctly]
So if you have to be a mermaid, how are you gonna get outside? Im sorry but I find this a bit absurd. Not saying that its not possible, just that the way this is worded is kinda strange. That and if you never take a ring off, it will most likely cut off your circulation someday because no matter what species you are, you have to grow. Mako mermaid? You mean the ones in H2O? That series on Netflix?
There's two series. Mako mermaids and h2o just add water mako mermaids. Honestly I think its not possible to be a ''real'' mermaid. You cant change your physical form. Now you can wear a mermaid tail over a mono fin that is used for swimming but I think that those only come in kids sizes. If you want to believe in mermaids go ahead but you cant say you can turn into something else that isn't even real. Magick does have its limits. I just believe that it's not possible to change your physical form.
mermaids can go from land to water and back if you do alot of web surfing you can find that out and also if you watch netf;lix shows the producers do alot of web surfing to find out what migfht make a good netflix show
I just wanted to mention that if I wanted or needed to take it off it should be fine, this kinda feels like a hit or miss.
this sounds like a fake spell because it sounds something from a show.
