Casting Instructions for 'Simple Binding Spell'

You will need the following items for this spell:

  • -paper with persons name/picture of person/something of their's/some of them (like hair/spit)
  • -A black string or ribbon; something you can tie with
  • -a jar, box, or other method of containment

  • -A black string or ribbon; something you can tie with
  • -a jar, box, or other method of containment

1.(if using paper/an object you can tie around)

Roll up the paper and tie it with a bit of black string.

(if using some of them/an object you cannot tie around)

Put in a piece of paper and tie with black string. (don't roll the paper around it, make a little envelope.) If too big, but in a plastic/paper bag or jar.

2. Put inside of a box or jar, and tie that closed with black string.

3. Put in a place you never look/go so you don't often see it.

1-3. (optional) Chant something, such as

(English)

You cannot see me
You cannot hear me
You do not want me
Now let me be

(Latin)

Non poteris videre faciem meam
Tu a me non audiat
Tu non vis me
Iam adde me

Does the string have to be black?

Color has meaning, so it might have some room to change depending on what you are after from the spell. Black is strong, grounding, protective, and absorbs. So for use in influence and control against a person it makes the most sense.

By example if the spell was being adapted to perhaps bind someone from self-harm you might use a white string for upliftment and clarity. Or violet for healing. Or green for growth.

Context, goal, and associations are key considerations.
